The Private Lives of Teachers

Summer was over and school had started the first lesson of the day was French. Our teacher was Ms. Loizido. She asked us how our summer vacations were and what did we do. When we asked her what she did in her vacations, she said that she didn’t do anything special and so students obviously have to believe their teachers. That day she said she was sick and she had lost her voice because of a cold. Of Corse us 4 didn’t believe her because who on Earth would get a cold in the summer I mean come on people its only summer.
Suddenly a teacher came into our classroom to give Ms. Loizido her coffee. She gave her the coffee and told her to not scream again. Then Sarah was feeling cheeky and wanted to know what did Ms. Loizido scream about to loose her voice. Mostly it wasn’t only Sarah who wanted to know what happened all of us did. Then the teacher asked Ms. Loizido if she had told us about her holiday and what she was screaming for. Obviously Ms. Loizido’s reply was a “no”. Then the teacher was laughing so hard and we were all so confused.
The teacher started telling us the story, “So this is how it all started” she said. “Ms. Loizido and I went to China to watch the Olympics, we got there and we decided to do some other unusual activities other than shopping and just watching the Olympics”. She also said that they wanted to add a little more fun to their vacations and let this be their fantastic vacation that will go down in history. “We were looking for all sorts of fun activities to do especially the wildest activities ever”, She continued. “Then we went to the hotels activities office down in the lobby and checked out what they had”. We were all so bored when she was telling us about what activities they would do and we were all expecting her to say that they would go on some boat ride, see some historical sight or even go on a banana boat which is rather weird. When she said the wildest we all were like “oh why do I have a feeling that this isn’t going to be the wildest activity on earth??” Because for some reason it’s hard to believe that teachers can do such interesting and weird activities.
Oh my god you would not believe what she just said. They actually went on for a helicopter jump in China. She went on, “we jumped from a helicopter although the distance wasn’t that far, it was so fun and we had the parachutes open as soon as we reached half way”. We were so amazed about what we were hearing. She also informed us that Ms. Loizido was screaming while going down really fast and that’s why she lost her voice. Also because she was falling down and the air noise was loud and she tried to scream but hardly anyone heard her. She also told us that they went on a parachute boat ride and they actually did go on a banana boat wow.
So that was Ms. Loizido’s vacations that she didn’t tell us about and said that she had nothing special because she didn’t want us to know teachers secrets. Also she didn’t want us to laugh at her for screaming while falling because she lost her voice that way and it was too embarrassing for a teacher to say something like that when she is an actual teacher, who has studied about gravity and all of that scientific stuff.
