  1. Those born with social and financial advantages have a responsibility for those who are not.
-Disagree. Everyone is born with their own responsibilities for themselves and their families, if they have one. Just because someone has money doesn’t make them more superior and in charge of other people’s lives. If someone is rich and likes to help the poor people then it’s a different situation because they’re willing to share their wealth with others but no one is forcing them. Otherwise, everyone depends on themselves. People don’t always suffer because of financial issues; some may have issues with their family, loved ones or even disliking their jobs, that maybe an issue. Those who are “born with financial advantages” can’t do anything about it. As people say “money can’t buy happiness” and that’s one important issue people face. Whether they’re rich or poor. The social advantages depends on how people would interpret it but if its for having connections with important people and being able to call a friend and get a job for someone then that maybe an aspect where wealth and connections make someone responsible for another. Yet again only if they wanted to do something good for a person, they’re not inclined to do so. If nobody asks for any favors then these fortunate people have nothing to worry about other than themselves.

  1. Those people we deem “monsters” in today’s society are merely misunderstood.
-Agree, not every person we consider a “monster” is bad. They may have issues and take them out on others but that doesn’t mean that they are not human or have feeling just like everybody else. In our society we think that bullies are cruel, monstrous and dangerous but in reality they suffer from insecurity and other issues from their past. Yet at the same time we think that there is a good side to them, they don’t mean what they do and there’s potential in making them better people. Well I believe that applies to everyone in our society. Especially the ones who have certain defects like pedophiles and most delinquents. We just judge them and consider them bad because we do not know enough about them. We haven’t lived their past. We misunderstand them and treat them rather harsh thus they have no chance of developing the good side inside them and that’s what encourages them to keep doing bad things. In my opinion that most caused defects are due to problems growing up for example child abuse makes the child himself violent as they grow older and gives them satisfaction from causing pain to others. Even though there is little chances of helping them, instead we could try preventing that by raising awareness and trying to put ourselves in their shoes.
