Anticipation Guide Response

1. Politics and political problems are a subject for adults to deal with
I disagree because usually children listen to the news and know what’s happening around the world and in their countries. Also children can understand politics because for example in schools they usually have a student council to prepare activities for the students in the school. practically that’s just like the government making a council to decided on this for the government to do for the people in the country and so that’s kind of a link between children and politics.

2. All stories can have a happy ending if those involved work towards it.
I agree because we are the ones who control what goes on in our lives. So that means if we put a little more effort in our work and think positively we could actually have happy endings and nothing is impossible unless we think in a negative way. If we start thinking negatively then obviously we will end up with sad endings for silly mistakes we didn’t mean to do to make things worse for us and our lives. Although as we grow up our problems will get more complex and harder for us to solve so we could have a happy ending to our stories.

3. Literacy (being able to read) is a form of freedom.
I guess I agree with this point because well if people don’t know how to read then they don’t have freedom. They also won’t be able to live with us now days because everything in our lives depends on writing and reading and being educated. Also because as we know in civilizations before some didn’t support education because they didn’t want people to be free and learn things and know how to read and write to decided on their carriers and if they wanted to rebel against the government or stuff.

4. Civilizations without a written language cannot document history
I disagree because the people could draw it somewhere or built something to honor it. It could also be drawn on walls whether to decorate it or to record what was happening during that time. They could be told as stories or passed on from generations to other generations.

Wow, great point! It's true, many governments and ruling parties have been anti-education. If people learn and know more, then they will understand the injustice that exist in their lives.
